At the 2008 International Tokyo Toy Show, the Endless Edamame (or Infinite Soybean) series. This toy won the 2008 Toy Award grand prize in the trendy toy category on June 17th, 2008. The Edamame Soybean Pod toy has three beans inside the pod. When you push the beans, they pop out of the pod and then go back inside as you release your grip. This Edamame Soybean Pod series contains five different colours, each with a special name. It is an excellent item to satisfy your bubble popping needs. Rather than popping bubble tape, they bring to you this "soybean peapod". This is a keychain decoration which you can attach to your "keys", "cell phones", "backpack", or electronic devices. Whenever your fingers have nothing better to do, simply squeeze those suckers right out of the pod as many times as you need to. Even better, each pea has it's own facial expression adding to that "kawaii factor" that Japan absolutely loves. "A great stress reliever and conversation starter. A must have if you love to keep your hands busy!" Having Endless fun with Endless Edamame! People really have a thing for popping bubble wrap. Have fun collecting all 12 Endless Edamame faces. Many have discovered the Edamame Soybean Pod is a better replacement for the bubble wrap. Popping the soybean out of the pod is so much fun and a great time killer. It looks like a three-bean edamame soybean pod; when you squeeze a bulge, a bean jumps out of the pod with a "puni-puni" pop and then slips back in.

If the tactile stress relief is what you crave,
the "Edamame Soybean Pod is like bubble wrap that never ends, soybeans that don't make your fingers wet!"
The makers of the toy believe that the act of popping soybeans out of a pod can be just as enjoyable as eating the beans. If that isn’t entertaining enough for consumers, they’ve also added cute little faces to the middle bean in each pod.
